Stone packaging and export
How Natural Stone Is Packed for International Shipping
Natural stone is packed on wooden pallets or in crates with strapping, edge protection and moisture separation, then loaded to container volumes.

Packaging determines how much material arrives intact. Natural stone is heavy, brittle at the edges and sensitive to moisture staining, so export packaging is planned around format, thickness and transit route.
Packaging by product type
| Product | Packaging method |
|---|---|
| Tiles | Wooden pallets or crates, strapped with edge protection |
| Mosaics | Cartons on pallets, sheet separated |
| Cut-to-size | Wooden crates with internal bracing |
| Slabs | A-frame wooden bundles |
| Moisture control | Interleaving and plastic wrapping |
Container loading
Because stone reaches container weight limits before it fills the volume, loading is planned by weight. Pallets are distributed evenly across the container floor and secured to prevent movement in transit.
